The Eco-Inn receives a special award for a special project.
Esslingen – It is a special award from the Stuttgart Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Ecoinn Hotel on Esslingen’s university campus is receiving this year’s IHK Training Innovation Award. “At a time of skills shortages, in-house training is becoming increasingly important,” says IHK President Marjoke Breuning. The jury was particularly impressed that the Stuttgart social enterprise that runs the Ecoinn in Esslingen supports young people from Europe who have no training prospects in their home countries. Young people from Spain and Croatia are currently completing dual vocational training in the hotel and restaurant sector in Esslingen.
