Cookie Notice
We use cookies exclusively for statistical purposes, to optimise our website for visitors, and to measure session length. The latter serves to log users out automatically after a certain period of inactivity. No personal data is collected in the process.
Our website fulfils the legal obligation to inform you about the use of cookies. Cookies help to make websites more user-friendly, efficient and secure. A cookie is a small file that our website stores on your device.
Among other things, cookies store information such as your preferred language or other page settings. When you visit our website again, your browser sends this stored information back so that personalised content can be displayed.
No automatic collection of personal data
Cookies can contain various information that makes it possible to identify the visitor (e.g. name, address, e-mail address or telephone number). However, our website only has access to the data that you actively provide to us. Without your involvement, our website can neither collect your e-mail address nor access other files on your computer.
Managing cookies in your browser
By default, cookies are stored in the background without you actively noticing. However, you can configure your browser so that you are asked before a cookie is stored, or so that cookies are only allowed for the current session.
You can view and manage stored cookies in the common browsers as follows:
- Google Chrome: Click the padlock icon (on secure pages) or the “i” icon in the address bar. Select “Cookies (X in use)”.
- Mozilla Firefox: Click the padlock icon or “i” to the left of the address bar. Select “More information” and, in the “Privacy & History” section, go to “View Cookies”.
- Microsoft Edge: Click the three dots “…” at the top right. Go to “Settings” > “Choose what to clear”. Cookies can be deleted there, but not viewed.
Importance of cookies for the functionality of the website
By allowing cookies to be stored, you enable the website to be better adapted to your individual needs. Certain settings are stored temporarily and restored when you visit again.
In accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which has been in force since 25 May 2018, website operators are obliged to inform users about the collection and processing of their data. The legal basis for processing is set out in Chapter 2, Article 6 of the GDPR (see Regulation).
