The manager of Esslingen’s ECOINN hotel received another award for his environmental commitment, unique in the hotel and conference industry, at this year’s mtb trade fair in Munich on 2 December:
In the “Best carbon footprint” category, the ECOINN, together with its affiliated ECONVENT events venue, has the lowest carbon footprint of all German conference hotels, which is why it was presented with the MICE-Portal’s “CSR Award 2015”.
The multi-award-winning ECOINN Hotel am Campus generates all its energy, both electricity and heat, in its own hydroelectric plant, also supplies its ECONVENT conference venue with it, and feeds surplus energy into the public power grid.
Every year, event planners and providers (hotels and conference venues) from all over Germany meet at the mtb trade fair in Munich.
